Overview

Pat is a partner in the Vorys Cincinnati office and a member of the corporate and real estate groups. He has wide-reaching experience across a variety of matter types, which allows him to better provide coordinated, practical counsel aligned with each client’s broader business objectives.  Pat advises privately held companies, business owners, developers, banks and financial institutions on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, commercial real estate finance and lending matters.

Pat works closely with privately held companies and their owners on both transformational transactions and organic growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, business expansion, strategic contracting, corporate governance and other day-to-day legal and business matters.  He also regularly serves as outside counsel to local and regional businesses, providing ongoing legal guidance and connecting clients with colleagues among Vorys’ many practice areas.

Pat has significant experience with commercial real estate acquisitions, acquisition strategy, due diligence, purchase and sale transactions, leasing, financing and development-related matters.  He also represents banks and financial institutions in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of a wide range of lending and finance transactions, including commercial real estate financing.

Pat’s background, which began in litigation and evolved into corporate and commercial real estate matters to meet his clients’ expanding needs, gives him a unique and nuanced perspective on risk assessment, exposure analysis and transaction structuring in complex matters.
