Overview
Leslie is of counsel in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the probate and tax group and the estate trust and wealth transfer subgroup. She focuses her practice on trusts, estates, and private wealth planning, helping high-net-worth individuals and families develop and implement sophisticated estate plans that prioritize asset protection and tax efficiency.
Leslie has experience developing and implementing estate plans for high-net-worth individuals and families, utilizing a wide range of advanced planning techniques, including preparing revocable trusts, GST trusts, GRATs, SLATs, ILITs, IDGTs, charitable trusts, special needs trusts, and business succession planning documents.
Leslie also has experience advising fiduciaries in estate and trust administration, including preparing probate court pleadings, documents related to trusteeship, coordinating trust funding and distributions and preparing federal estate and gift tax returns.
Prior to joining Vorys, Leslie served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Wealth Management, where she provided legal guidance to wealth advisors and executives across JPMorgan Wealth Management lines of business. In that role, Leslie advised on all legal matters related to investment accounts, including trust, estate, regulatory, and tax matters.
Leslie earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she served as a managing editor of the Ohio State Law Journal. She received her B.A. from Boston College.
