Overview
Charbel is an associate in the Vorys Cleveland office and a member of the firm’s finance, energy and real estate group.
Charbel represents developers, landlords, tenants and business owners in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leases, construction and development transactions. He advises clients throughout the lifecycle of commercial real estate transactions, from letter of intent through closing, including advising clients on due diligence, entitlement, title and survey review, and negotiation.
Charbel has significant experience drafting and negotiating access and utility easements, reciprocal easement agreements, purchase agreements, development agreements, commercial leases, loan documents and other agreements related to commercial development projects. He has led numerous large-scale commercial development transactions, including projects involving national retailers and quick-service food chains. He also counsels clients on title, survey, zoning, land use and other real estate matters related to commercial transactions.
Charbel earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He graduated summa cum laude from John Carroll University with a B.S. in economics.
