Overview
Joe is a Vorys property tax assistant, a licensed Texas property tax consultant and a member of the taxation group.
Joe manages a docket of hundreds of properties across nearly 1,000 jurisdictions nationwide. He has significant experience drafting real estate tax complaints and petitions for commercial and residential properties. He supports attorneys in preparing multi-year real property tax projections, helping clients analyze, anticipate and mitigate potential property tax impacts during the underwriting process. Joe also performs equity and uniformity analysis of properties for submission as evidence for ongoing property tax protests.
He has considerable experience with the sales comparison approach to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), as well as additional experience with the income approach and the cost approach.
He received his A.A. in legal studies as well as his B.A. from Mount St. Joseph University.
