2026 IPT Credits and Incentives Symposium
Chris Knezevic, a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and member of the firm's tax and economic development incentives practice, will participate in a session at the 2026 Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) Credits and Incentives Symposium in Colorado Springs on November 3.
The title of the session will be "Confidential Until It Isn't: Disclosure Risks in Site Selection and Incentives." It will focus on the importance of confidentiality in economic development practices and the risks to that confidentiality that come with negotiations with public entities being subject to open meetings, public records, lobbying, ethics and disclosure requirements. The session will examine how companies, consultants, attorneys and economic development officials can protect sensitive information while complying with transparency obligations.
Chris will be joined by Matthew Hinshaw, a CPA and partner at Bradley.
